Unused data carries forward instead of disappearing at billing date. Bank up to 500GB of unused data as a reserve for high-demand months. From $24/month ex GST, no lock-in contracts, unlimited national calls and SMS.
Every month, businesses pay for a data allowance they may not fully use. When the billing date arrives, that unused data is simply gone. For teams where usage varies from one month to the next, whether through travel, client projects, or seasonal work patterns, this is a predictable cost with no return.
eComms data rollover plans change this. Unused data is carried forward into the next month automatically. Data banking goes further: on eligible plans, unused data accumulates over time into a reserve of up to 500GB, available whenever your team has a high-demand period.

IDD included on plans from 29GB and above as standard. 10GB and 15GB plans do not include IDD. Plans from 10GB to 15GB: no IDD. Plans from 29GB and above: IDD included. Data banking up to 500GB on all plans.
A staff member who travels interstate two weeks one month and works from a desk the next has completely different data needs. Rollover means the low-usage months build a buffer so the heavy travel months do not require plan upgrades or top-ups.
Administrative and executive staff often use a small fraction of their monthly allowance. Without rollover, that data disappears. With data banking, it accumulates and is available during any unusually data-heavy period.
Teams whose activity spikes around specific projects or seasons see mobile data usage swing widely. Banking lets quieter periods build a reserve that covers peak demand without needing temporary plan upgrades.
IDD to nominated countries is included on plans from 29GB upward as a standard feature. For staff who travel internationally, roaming bolt-ons are available on selected plans. Contact the eComms team for details on which countries are covered under the standard IDD inclusion and what roaming options are available.

“Our consultants have completely different data usage depending on whether they have client travel in a given month. Before data rollover, the quiet months were pure waste. Now the banked data carries us through the heavy periods without top-ups or plan upgrades.”

Data rollover means unused mobile data from your current billing cycle is carried forward and added to your next month's allowance rather than expiring at the billing date. On an eComms business mobile plan with rollover, a staff member who does not use their full allowance this month starts next month with their standard plan data plus the unused balance. Rollover is included on all eComms data rollover plan types.
Data rollover carries unused data forward one billing cycle. Data banking is a longer-term accumulation feature where unused data builds up to a 500GB total across multiple months on eligible plans. Monthly unused data rolls over into the bank, which grows until the 500GB cap or until the data is used. Both features operate simultaneously on eligible eComms rollover plans.
Downgrading to a plan that does not include data banking will cause any accumulated banked data to be forfeited. Before downgrading, check with your eComms account manager whether the target plan supports banking. eComms can recommend the minimum plan size that retains the data banking feature for your team.
An auto bolt-on is a small additional data allowance that is automatically added to a SIM when the monthly plan allowance is used up, so the device stays connected without requiring a manual top-up or a call to support. On eComms mobile broadband plans, auto bolt-ons of 2GB are enabled for all new activations on eligible plans. The bolt-on rate is confirmed at account setup. Auto bolt-ons are not available on the 400GB plan.
No. IDD to nominated countries is included as a standard feature on plans from 29GB and above. The 10GB and 15GB plans do not include IDD. If international calling is important for your team, a plan from 29GB upward is recommended. Contact the eComms team for the full list of included IDD countries and for information on international roaming bolt-ons.
If your team is losing unused data at the end of every billing cycle, data rollover plans are worth a conversation. eComms can review your current usage patterns across each SIM and recommend the right plan size. Melbourne team. No obligation and no commitment required to get the assessment.
